Attention Live Music Academy Students and Parents!

We would like to thank you for being part of Live Music Academy 2014-2015 school year as well as share some news and upcoming events happening at Live Music Academy.

We have grown and continue to grow as new students sign up. As the number of students grows, additional instructors are needed to join the staff team. This brings us to some great news.

We are happy welcome Willow Goodine to the team. Mr. Willow is an experienced piano teacher, a vocal coach, and an orchestral music composer. 

In addition, we are excited to welcome back Bridget Hermano, our vocal instructor, She will return to Live Music Academy after Spring Break. Also we have a new saxophone instructor Arthur Reznichenko, and John Shakespeare as our guitar instructor.

Last but not least, we have an exciting announcement about one of our own instructors and also a personal friend. Please join us in congratulating Jhauvor Harrison on his engagement to marry his chosen bride Tahtianna Joy Kerr Summer 2015. Congratulations Jhauvor and Tahtianna! 

Mark Your Calendars with these important Event Dates:

April 2-8, 2015 - CLOSED Spring Break

April 14 - Drum Lab and Theory Class returns

May 16 (10am-1pm)- Concert at the Federal Way Farmers Market.

A few instructors from LMA will be performing at the concert. Intermediate and Advanced level students are also invited to perform. If you are interested in participating please speak to your instructor or LMA director before May 1st. The stage will be at the Federal way Commons mall parking lot.

June 19 (5-8pm) - LMA Recital at Overcomer Covenant Church.
Parents, friends, and students are all welcome to join the final 2014-2015 school year recital. Please note, this is NOT the end of the semester. Dress Code for students: formal, professional.

Special Offer for bi-weekly Summer lessons
4 bi-weekly lessons (60 min/lesson) $220 (10% discount)
4 bi-weekly lessons (45 min/lesson) $170 ( 7% discount)

July – August 2015 - Summer Camps.
The below are tentative dates for camps we are planning to host. We are still confirming the dates with our instructors. The official camp dates will be available after Spring Break.
• Kid’s Music Camp: Piano & Introduction to Music - Ages 4-6
                        July 13-17 (10:00am-1:00pm) price: $125
• Drum and Rhythm Camp   
                        July 13-17 (9:30am-3:30pm) price: $180
• Vocal Summer Camp - Ages 7-11                        
                        July 20-24 (9:30am-3:30pm) $180
• Worship Band Camp                                                                                              
                        July 27-31 (9:30am-3:30pm) price: $180
• Band Camp 
                        August 3-7 (9:30am-3:30pm) price: $180
• Guitar Camp: Beginners
                        August 10-14 (9:30am-3:30pm) price: $180
Summer Camp Special Offer: 10% Discount if you sing up and pay before June 1, 2015.  

September 8 - New Semester 2015-2016
Current LMA students: If you sign up before July 6, 2015, you have the option to keep your same schedule, price and instructors for the 2015-2016 school year. We are unable to guarantee the same instructor, price and time slot after July 6th.
