TERMS & CONDITIONS
Live Music Academy Policy
At Live Music Academy, we offer a welcoming environment for students to learn and enjoy music. We understand that committing to long-term contracts may not be suitable for everyone. Instead, we believe that providing excellent services and instructions will keep students engaged and motivated to continue their lessons with us.
We also understand that students and parents may have concerns about whether the chosen instrument will be the right fit. Therefore, we offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, giving you the flexibility to explore different instruments and find what works best for you.
In order to maintain the highest standards of education and ensure a quality learning experience, we kindly request that you agree to the following terms.
Free trial lesson
We value the importance of finding the right fit for your music education journey. That's why we offer new students one complimentary 30-minute trial lesson. This trial lesson allows you to meet the instructor, ask any questions you may have, and ensure that you feel confident in pursuing your music education with us.
*Please note that the free trial lesson cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts that may be available. We want to ensure that all students have a fair opportunity to experience our high-quality instruction and services
Registration Fee
To ensure a seamless and personalized learning experience, we require a one-time registration fee of $49 per student after the free trial lesson. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with scheduling your lessons and setting up your customized learning plan.
Payment Policy
To continue with your education at Live Music Academy, we require students to prepay for the upcoming month. Payment should be made at the first lesson of each month. Failure to make the payment on time may result in the loss of your spot on the schedule. We encourage you to set up a monthly subscription through our website, using your credit/debit card. If you prefer to make manual payments, there is a $10 fee per month to cover the additional costs of processing and following up on payments. Personal checks and money orders are accepted as manual payments and should be brought to the first lesson of the month. Please note that no refunds will be given for any lessons already paid for if you decide to discontinue the lessons.
Rescheduling Policy
If you are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, we will try our best to accommodate a rescheduled lesson if you provide at least 24 hours' notice. Each student is allowed up to two makeup lessons per quarter (three months). If you have already used up your makeup lessons and need to reschedule another lesson, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance and a rescheduling fee of $20 will apply for each rescheduled lesson. No refund or makeup lesson will be granted if the notice is not provided within the specified time frame. Please note that group classes cannot be rescheduled, and it is the responsibility of the student to obtain any missed material from the teacher or other students.
Missed Lesson Policy
Apart from the makeup policy mentioned above, payment must still be made for any missed lessons. We reserve a specific time slot for each student and have a legal obligation to pay the instructor for that reserved slot. This policy applies regardless of the reason for the absence, including illness or vacations. However, if a Live Music Academy instructor misses a lesson without providing a substitute, a refund for the missed lesson will be granted.

This not only showcases their progress but also serves as a source of motivation for them to continue their musical journey. It's an unforgettable experience for both the students and their loved ones.
Instructors
We value feedback from students and parents and provide the opportunity to rate our instructors. If you are not satisfied with your assigned instructor, our management will reassign you to a different qualified teacher. All our teachers undergo background checks to ensure a safe learning environment for our students.
Attendance and Preparedness
We strongly encourage students to arrive at least 5 minutes before their scheduled lesson to account for traffic delays. Please note that the teacher cannot delay the class if you are late, and you may miss important material. It is also essential for students to have their own instruments at home for practice. Live Music Academy does not take responsibility for the safety or whereabouts of students outside of lesson times. We highly recommend that parents walk their children to and from the classroom to facilitate communication with the teacher. By signing up, the student agrees to release Live Music Academy from any claims arising from instruction or participation in lessons.
Practice
To ensure students' progress, we request that they keep a record of their practice sessions in their registration package notebook. It is also important for students to be punctual and always bring their books and binders to class.
