THEORY / PERFORMANCE GROUP CLASS
Theory classes - 1 hr/month
Theory serves as an ideal supplement for private lessons, allowing students to learn musical concepts in a fun, creative atmosphere. Student will learn scales, chords, basic harmony, music history.
Performance - 1 hr/month
Students will perform in front of their peers every month.
Performance will build confidence, and students will learn to play for a grade on a regular basis. Performance is an essential element in motivating students to master their lessons and grow into accomplished musicians
ONLINE - Interactive Music Theory Lessons and Music Notes for Beginner Musicians (homework)
A variety of enjoyable music theory lessons, games, races and ear training activities are used to introduce and reinforce music theory concepts such as music notes in two clefs, music values, time signatures, dynamics and key signatures. The completion of online requires listening, observation and a bit of trial and error, leading to a solid understanding of basic music theory. These activities are a great way for kids to learn music notes and theory.
Cost for the 2 hour class once a month $20 if you take individual lessons (regular price $40)
