As the fall semester started at Live Music Academy this September 7th, 2016 our fist student Jim came in at 3pm for guitar lesson. Jim has a successful business and decided to take guitar lessons because growing up he always wanted to play but his parents could not afford music lesson. As we continue to talk, Jim mentioned that he would like to be part of helping those students who want to learn music but cant afford lessons or instruments. As live music academy we have taken 4-5 students every semester and helped financially so they can continue to take lessons but we understood we needed to do more and help talented students to learn music even if their family cannot afford. So we started a fund to allow other people like Jim to be a change for students who need it.
Live Music Academy started a scholarship fund to offer music lesson for families with low income. If your child-expressed desire to learn piano, drums, violin, guitar or voice and you could not afford, we want to help you with full or partial scholarship. To apply follow the link and fill out the application to be considered for lessons at Live Music Academy. Also Live Music Academy Fund will help supply students with instruments that are donated and music material as needed.
Growing up as a teen I realized how music was important to me by giving me purpose, good friends to play music with and kept me out of trouble. Giving a toy or a bike to a kid is important but teaching them to play music will stay with them for the rest of their life. Developing their talent could give the purpose and meaning in life. If you like to be part of sponsoring a child for the semester, or help us purchase music instruments for those in need. Click here for more information.
